We are Seaside Volleyball

Seaside Volleyball Club started in Bluffton, South Carolina in 2018 in order to give more athletes an opportunity to play club volleyball.  The experiences from that first year with one team was so great that strong demand allowed Seaside to grow to four teams in our second season. We have had six teams since including the first boys travel team in Beaufort County for the 2022/2023 season.

The Seaside Volleyball Club is a member of USA Volleyball (USAV) and the Palmetto Region of USAV.  Tournaments are usually played in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.  Seaside Volleyball Club Inc. is proud to be registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. This allows us as a club to focus resources on continually learning and improving in order to delivering a superior club volleyball experience.

Seaside's commitment is to our players, families, and coaches.  We use the term "#SeasideFamily" because that is the environment we continually work to foster.  We coach with positivity and continual encouragement, creating the best environment for personal and team success. The Seaside Volleyball Club experience encourages team bonding, relationship building, respect for diversity, and embracing the personal and team responsibilities that come with being an athlete on a Seaside Volleyball Club team.

We teach and train the same key USA Volleyball technique points and foundational cues used by the U.S. Women’s National Team which includes:

  1. Repeatability – Consistency of actions
  2. Reducing Variance – Consistency of results by decreasing range of error
  3. Managing Risk – Reduce errors by making good decisions. Don’t try to go from bad to great – just go from bad to good.

Consistency of actions and results is best achieved through mechanically sound and efficient technique. All unnecessary movements should be eliminated.”  Less is more, simple is best.” Learning to make good decisions is imbedded in the Seaside Volleyball Club athlete training experience.

“Learn – Prepare – Compete – Unite in playing for each other”.
