Change in how to register for USAV

by Seaside Volleyball Club, 2020-09-16T13:00:37.000-07:00September 16 2020, at 01:00 PM PDT

image The Palmetto Region has switched from Webpoint to SportsEngine for registration. There are some noticeable differences. First off, every player will initially purchase a tryout membership. After you have accepted a position on a team, the Club will send you an invitation to join that team. At that point, you will register for full membership. All of the details can be found here: https://www.palmettoregionvb.org/reginfo. Registration is now open for players.
More information on tryouts, an information meeting and more will be coming... [more]

No recent activity How is Seaside Volleyball Club different from other clubs in the area?
There are many clubs to choose from in the Beaufort County area. Each club has its differences, here's ours: Smaller Club/Smaller Teams-We think the ideal number of players is 10 per team. This increases the playing time for all the players on a team. Less Tournaments-Seaside plays in about two tournaments a month. This enables us to charge less for each season and saves parents money in travel costs. Speaking of travel costs-With the exception of "Stay to Play" events, we don't dictate where you stay. It is your responsibility to get the player to the playing venue at the coach required time. We do encourage families to stay near each other as it promotes cohesiveness. Less practice time-We know that school comes first for our athletes, so we practice only twice a week-during the day on Sunday and a weeknight. This also makes it so our older players can have a job as well.
